So, me, my mom, and my brother are playing Scrabble this weekend. My brother is kind of new to Scrabble and he gets the American Heritage Handicap – he gets to peruse the dictionary before he plays a word. Which means he pretty much sits with it open in his lap.
Mom played the word “Ye” as in “Oh ye of little faith.” My brother totally looked it up on her, to see if it was a real word. “It’s from the bible,” she said, trying to help him orient his brain.
“Not everything from the bible is true,” he responded promptly.
