Crock Pot Heaven

As I write I have a mesquite pork loin in the crock pot. Last week I made up my own crock pot recipe: 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, one can of sliced mushrooms, two boxes of wild rice without the seasoning packets, diced cooked chicken and shredded cheese from the two bags already open in the fridge (swiss and cheddar).  Speaking of throwbacks, the crock pot has seen some quality time in our kitchen these last weeks, so much so that I’m running out of recipes in my crock pot cookbook. Might have to stop by the library and copy some new ones out of another edition of Fix It and Forget It.
