As we had some work done on the bathroom I couldn’t not mention it considering that “pink bathroom” and “venetian pink” are still two of the biggest search words that find me. Sorry the bathroom photographs so lousy. Also, the floor is perfect, that’s just the film left on that I still need to wipe up.

We had three tiles that had come up on the “Venetian Pink” floor so as long as we had the floor being tiled I asked the rocking jamming totally awesome tile guy Mario to fix them as he had all the stuff right there. He said he’d do it gratis. I mean, three tiles? Not much of a job for him. He fixed the tiles and then started to re-grout just that area. I realized the bathroom was going to look weird with just the one area with bright white grout and the rest with old grout so I asked him to do the whole floor which he did with good grace. An hour later and it looks like a new floor. I feel kind of guilty to have gotten a whole room of free work and I offered to pay him on the side for the work but he refused.
