The first chapter of my family history is done. I decided to hire a copy editor so the work would really be first-class. She’s a doctoral student in English who has copy edited books for professors.
The chapter on my Uncle Tom and Aunt Charlotte is back from the editor, the changes have been made, and it is in the folder on my computer marked Finished! 5 additional chapters are with the editor now. There are a total of 14 chapters.
