Stood up again

As long as we’re talking about contractors I should mention that we got stood up again – but this time only by 3 twelve year olds who have started their own weeding/gardening/babysitting/pet sitting business. We’ve had some trouble connecting in general and on the day they were due to work – yesterday – they didn’t call and didn’t show. I assumed they changed their mind about wanting to weed the wee garden, the hasta row, the rock garden and the side yard. But they called today and want to do it after all. I’m going to give them another try. They’re just kids, they work cheap, and not many adults want a job just weeding. And God knows I don’t want to do it.
