Now that I’m done adulting for the day…

Each year at work, I’m required to conduct ten library visits. They’re actually fun, and I’ve never had a bad experience, but there’s also some natural social anxiety. An introvert walks into a new environment and makes conversation with a stranger for two hours … X 10.

In any case, today I did two library visits, both at very charming Carnegie libraries, but now I’m home and showered and buttoned up tight for the evening.

I’m done adulting for the day. I’ve decided to eat popcorn slathered in butter and white cheddar seasoning with a couple of cans of caffeine free Diet Coke over ice for dinner while watching a couple of EARLY re-runs of Little House on the Prarie because that’s how this introvert rolls. Followed by jamocha almond fudge ice cream. Lots and lots of jamocha almond fudge ice cream.

And nobody can stop me now! Ah-hah! I knew there was an upside to growing up!
