I can’t tell whose having a better time! The girls or Scout! He is a source of endless diversion and so far they have not tired of him in the least (nor he of them). They have pets at home and the occasional playful nip or even a little scratch doesn’t bother them.
I’m pretty determined to win these girls over this week. I don’t know much about kids so I’m definitely taking suggestions. My go-to is bribery and my first idea was a chocolate sheet cake with their names on it. In purple. Smash hit.
But the best thing has been Scout. They’ve developed an endlessly diverting game of “Kitty Academy” which is a cat daycare for both cats. The girls squabble just a little bit about whose the manager-because after Little K declared she was the manager, Big K declared that the manager has to do paperwork so she doesn’t get as much time to play with the cats. The evil machinations of being 5 years older than your sibling! You can think circles around them!
