That I was going to decorate my bedroom in Georgia O’Keefes (FRAMED even, not JUST on canvas, ’cause I MEAN IT) was a decision made at the beginning of the Plum Boudoir endeavor. And the prints arrived yesterday!
I am so pleased with the two I decided on. These are so me. I may wait until the room is painted to hang them (oh, B! It’s time for me to consult you with a paint deck!).
Georgia O’Keefe was a profoundly beautiful and photogenic woman. She KILLED IT as a subject her entire life. I was so taken with her image that I tried to find a calendar of her, not her work (so next year I could take it apart and decorate my office with the prints). Can’t find one. Bummer.
So as not to run afoul of copyright law, I won’t re-post photographs of her as they’re art by themselves, but I encourage you to check out this photo of O’Keefe in her 70’s. When I flower? This is what I want to be.

I love them! Especially the shells!
