What’s the latest scoop of Snakelady for those of you who have allowed my bit of chaos into your lives? There is a reason I haven’t written in a month. I’m in a situation that I hoped would end, would go away, and I could write about it in wry 20/20 hindsight. Well, the bestContinueContinue reading “FMLA”

Dr. McDreamy
So I go to the oral surgeon yesterday and when he walks in I promptly report from my 1 mg of Ativan: “I don’t like dentists. Nothing personal.” “No problem,” he says. He looks at the X-Ray. “Number 19?” he asks. I confirm. He slips gas over my nose, “This will help you relax,” heContinueContinue reading “Dr. McDreamy”

As we are pre-season we were told the dress requirements would be waived but the food would be just as good. Excellent. I had no trepidation entering the waters of a formal diningContinueContinue reading “First World Problem of the Day: Putting me in my place (setting)”
Appalled
I learned today that there is a librarian merit badge for scouting. I also learned it is only for Boy Scouts, not for Girl Scouts. I can’t believe it! I was just about to email several friends with daughters in the Scouts about this fantastic opportunity until I realized their girls are locked out ofContinueContinue reading “Appalled”
