Versatile Format Training

I have trained businesses including the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services, Gravity Works, and King Media in instructional design and online course creation for library staff.

I have trained 300+ staff from over 150 libraries on website administration, eAccessibility, copyright, UX, communicating with help desks, and related skills.

I began holding day-long, in-person workshops in 2010, and started teaching virtually in 2017.

My recorded skills tutorials were adopted by the software company Enfold Systems for inclusion in their Help Desk.

My Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility series has been experienced by over 1,000 learners and has been adopted by international clients.

Review of the 5-hour online learning experience MeL Maven Badge which I co-created and co-produced:

I teach reference skills and sources at the graduate level, so I know how difficult it can be to integrate the two instructionally. I am deeply impressed by the way in which the MeL team has considered the essential elements of reference and MeL’s electronic resources and converted them into bite-sized, accessible, and powerful action steps.
