We’ll be seven weeks into the kitchen project on Saturday. The contractor is getting tired of hearing from me. I’m getting used to having the kitchen table in the living room where we can watch the PBS News Hour during dinner. The house is a whirlwind disaster area. There just doesn’t seem to be much point to cleaning at this juncture. Especially, ESPECIALLY, not the microwave, which I really want to replace. Really, really want to replace. But alas, the budget has run out. We are saving for a new microwave.
This place could really stand a vaccuuming. Before we pull half the living room furniture into God knows where so they can work and then I have to vaccuum under where the furniture used to be (and discover at least a dozen cat toys in the process). What did I say about there not being any point to cleaning?
