After realizing that Adobe Acrobat inserts page numbers and does indeed convert Word 2007 documents, my month of September, which was going to be a hell hole of formatting, has been tidyly reduced to a simple nightmare of formatting with a little more time for editing.
This is August so I’m in my last month of writing and it’s going well. I’m three chapters shy of being done and all of those chapters are well on their way. If the printer’s assurance that they can produce a finished product by the beginning of December if I can get it to them by the first of October then I am on time.
And I’ve been reading an entire series on American popular culture of the 20th century. Talk to be about youth culture in the 1920s and advertising in the 1940s! I’m really trying to capture a bit of the eras in which my relatives were living. It’s just not complete without it.
