Total Slacker

Today I put in only seven hours on family history. For the past few month’s I’ve dedicate one weekend day to the family history project each weekend and put in about 9 hours on that day. But I’m at a good stopping point so I’m going to put it down for now although there are a couple more things I’ll come back tonight and do once I can get a fresh eye on them.

Yesterday I took it to Kinkos and had a quick copy run and spiral bound so I could check formatting, margins, actual print look, and to sit down and read it through so I don’t repeat myself, which is something you tend to do when you write chapters independently of one another. It’s looking good. And it reads easily. It has that natural style about it that hides the fact that you’ve been working on it so hard.

For now, I am tired from working so hard. I think I’ll go slack in front of “Lost.” Wish I weren’t on Weight Watchers. I’d bake up a batch of brownies for my viewing pleasure. By the by, I’ve lost 15 pounds so far and I’m sticking with it.

  1. On the WW stuff – are you full in counting points, attending meetings, and doing weekly wiegh in’s? Or do you use the concepts and do it on your own?

  2. I use the online tools to methodically track everything I eat, go to meetings, and do the weekly weigh-in. The whole 9 yards. Skipping tracking or meetings and I don’t lose weight. The whole package works for me so I’ll work with it.
