Back to Work

A quick post to say I just completed two weeks of full-time work with no restrictions. My best time of day is still early morning and it is not unusual for me to go to bed while it’s light out but I am doing very well with a combination of oxygen, medication, and careful planning, such as being home by 6 each evening.

I even have enough energy to have started a spring cleaning this month. Clothes, books, built-ins, cupboards and what-nots, nothing is safe from a thorough re-examination. We’re evening planning some “freshening up” of the living room and … wait for it … the pink bathroom. Nothing crazy expensive like ripping out tile or buying new furniture. We’re talking paint, accents, linens. I have become a Pinterest fan and an Etsy wannabe.

I decided that I needed to decide on some words that capture what I’m doing, at least with the bathroom. Words that I could compare things to to say: will this match the others things you want for the bathroom? My words are: Fabulous and Bold.

So far, what I am most proud of is my re-organized bookshelves with photos and little this’s and that’s on the shelves along with the books. Special books get privileged space. I used to have business cards that said: Your bookshelf is your portrait. Totally. Cost of re-organizing four bookshelves and bringing peace and harmony to three rooms? $0.

So grateful to be feeling well and doing well. Thank you to my doctors, my hubby, my family, my friends and, of course, to God.
